can't match in RIC
« on: February 25, 2007, 08:42:39 pm »
Obv: D N VALENTINIANVS P F AVG
Rev: SECVRITAS REIPVBLICAE
Exergue: CONS and maybe either Epsilon or Gamma or nothing

In Reverse left field "O"? in right field "I"

Went through RIC IX constanstinople and found nothing with the above.
I think the coin must be a Valentinian I

Attached are NOT very good scans, any help would be appreciated
Also search Wildwinds and Coin Archives..

Thanks Jim

Yes, your coin is Valentinian I
your exergue is CONST, left field should be OF, right field I,
RIC IX Arles 9a, type ii(a)
