Indo-Scythian AE with different symbol
« on: September 13, 2021, 04:58:18 am »
This appears to be a common type with Bull & Lion, however the symbol over the Bull appears to be different to those I can see on the net so I'm unsure which ruler it belongs under.

These coins exist with a number of different monograms, but as far as I know they all have been minted under Azes (it is believed that there has been only one king Azes, see e.g. Robert Senior,  "The Final Nail in the Coffin of Azes II." Journal of the Oriental Numismatic Society 197 (2008), pp. 25–27).
