Marcus Antonius denarius RRC 536/4

Hi again

One of the Polish shops offers Marcus Antonius denarius RRC 536/4.

First pic shows "Polish" coin and second one shows coin sold as genuine by NAC about month ago.

Honestly "Polish" specimen looks quite qood for me, but I'm always suspicious when I see two rare coins minted with identical dies, sold in month apart.

What is your opinion?

They are both die struck and the style and fabric look pretty good... if they are fake, then it must be from a die transfer process. Hard to fake the edge poriosity on coin 1 though.  Honestly, I'm not sure. the first coin looks better and sharper.

A die match for a rare type is NOT a strong indicator, unless it is a die match to a known fake.
