Hi Dave
Your first piece is a 'nauruz' or New Year's present token from
Iran: the
obverse is upside down and shows (I think) a mirror on a stand flanked by two candlesticks.
Originally there was a small three-shahi coin which was the favourite one to give as new year presents, but when they stopped making these in the early 1900's private tokens like yours were produced as substitutes. Some have dates, but many are undated like yours: it could be anything between the 1940's and the 1990's.
The second one looks like an
Ottoman coin from Algeria, but i don't think there is enough design left to identify it further.
Best wishes
Alan
