Sorry, it is no Ancient coin, but worth for COTD in my eyes:  :angel:

Gold-Bankportugalöser of 10 Ducat 1879 for the diamond wedding of the merchandiser Johann Heinrich Schröder and his wife Henriette.

One of those coins that has everything going for it. Superb condition, interesting historically, grace and balance of design- and its gold!
