Bust of Augustus
« on: September 29, 2021, 03:10:05 am »
Hi,

I can't define for sure this coin so could it be the bust of Augustus? If so then who is on the obverse side: Agrippina, Marcus Aurelius, Antonius Pius or whom? The legends are very worn but some letters can be seen so obverse could be '..O...O...' and reverse '.H....'.

Size: 18 mm
Weight: 2 g.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Regards,
Juke

Possibly Pergamon, Senate (obverse) and Roma (reverse). There are several slightly different types.

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated!

I cleaned the coin with a toothpick for even a better image.
