Surprisingly, I did not hear about this project until now. It is set to be finished over 8 miles of tunnel under the Bosphorus and cost @ 3 Billion.  Started around 2005.
The man in charge complained about the delays because of old clay pots and stuff being found!?
A Byzantine shipyard was uncovered and need to read more about that.....
