I don't think that there are many collectors interested in Scottish coins.

The interest outside Scotland would be greater if they were more avilable and less pricey. But I always enjoy seeing them. Stkp

That is his hair, two curls on the left and five curls on the right (there ARE five if you look closely enough  :)). It is one of the ways used to distinguish that this coin was actually struck by Henry II amid all the other rulers who issued coins around this time all in the name of Henry.  ;)

That was his problem. He'd ruled jointly with his wife Mary, then she died, and he lost a chunk of his empire. Like most emperors, he didn't like it much.
