Most likely, a type of Semicircular Headed knee brooch, ca. 2nd Cent. AD

The indent seen lower in the first photo is also semicircular and 7mm in depth.

I forgot to mention that this is only one half of the mold. LOL!

Probably a square-body version like these, but with a plate at the head.  The square body is typically Germanic but rarely has a head-plate.
