I am having a little trouble.

I think Septimius Severus / Victory advancing left with wreath and branch

Reverse legend is strange to me.  Clearly AVG ending divided by her wings.

Any help would be great

Looks like an ancient counterfeit, a fouree, a silver plated copper core, which is not only visible, but being attacked by "bronze disease." You can search the terms here on FORVM.
Yes, purporting to be a denarius of Septimius Severus.
