HrJ 8.18.1.--  No tetrassarion with std Zeus by Tertullus for Caracalla.
AV K?]•M•AVR•    ANTÔNINOS  Bust, laureate, cloak over armor as from behind.
Rev.(cf. SS's 8.14.1.4), VPA OOVI?]TERTULLOV (scepter knob) NIKOPOLITÔN and in exergue PROS IS.  Same style but NOT same die as Septimius's; this one breaks before NIK...
This is indeed the rare Pick 1516.  From JW 19 06 10.  AE25+  10.03g  axis 7:30h.

Since Pick listed this one (but only as on the market a century ago), and Varbanov copied the listing (without an illustration), I went through the whole addenda so far to make sure it hasn't been listed before.  I'll post it now but get back to add the weight, etc., immediately.
Diam, Wt, and axis added

Two new dies.

Caracalla

AE 17

obv. M AVP K Λ – ANTΩNI
Draped, bare-headed bust right, probably also cuirassed.
rev. NIKOΠOΛIT ΠP and in ex: OC ICT retrograde.
       Lion pacing right.
ref. a) not in AMNG.
      b) Not in  Varbanov I (English).
      c) These dies not in Hristova/Jekov, but see the similar 8.18.53.3 for the type.

The retrograde exergue is similar to a lion reverse die of Julia Domna, 8.17.53.1, which has a retrograde POC ICT in the exergue.  Unlike those legends which read all the way around in a circle, these two exergues would only read correctly in a mirror.  Though, on this die, all the letters in the exergue except the T are vertically symmetrical, and the T is the only character which makes this retrograde.

Best regards

Are you sure these are new dies?  They look to me like the same dies as shown at 8.14.20.3, with the obv. legend AV L C - CEVHROC.  The ragged edge of the flan on your new specimen makes the base of the first V look like a K. You outbid me on this coin, but I already have the same dies on a worse specimen which I posted in Pat's gallery here:

http://picasaweb.google.com/slokind/STUDYNicopolisCoppersSmallBrass#5458471804344585618

I added a note about the reverse legend to the corrigenda thread here:

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/board/index.php?topic=61823.msg386793#msg386793

Yours is a nice specimen!

Yes, you can be right. And with these doubts I think it is better to withdraw this coin from the list. Here is another new one:

#118

A new rev. type for Caracalla

Caracalla, AD 198-217
AE 18(?)
obv. AV KM AVRH - ANTONINOC(sic!)
Bust, draped and cuirassed, laureate, r.
rev. NIKOPOLITW - N PROC ICTR
       in l. and r. field O - N
Staff of Asklepios entwined by snake l.
ref. a) for Caracalla: AMNG I/1, 1606 var. (has only N in field)
for Elagabal: AMNG I/1, 2032 (has ON in field, but Pick doesn't write where!)
Even Pick has had difficulties to differentiate between Elagabal and Caracalla.
      b) Varbanov (engl.) 3867 (for Elagabal, has N in r, Feld, according to Pick for
           Caracalla!)
      c) not in Hristova/Jekov, neither for Caracalla nor Elagabal.
Note: It is difficult to differentiate here between Caracalla and Elagabal, but because of the portrait I tend to Caracalla.

Regarding #117 that Jochen listed above:

obverse legend should read: AV K∙ M. AV∙ / ANTΩNINOC (sic non rho)

While the coin Jochen cites, 8.18.20.2, does compare a Caracalla / Asklepios Gallus with this unrecorded die pairing, perhaps a better comparison would be (Sept. Severus) 8.14.20.1-2 a reverse die match.  Jochen's Caracalla/ Asklepios, 8.18.20.2 (the only example I've seen of this die pairing) is a reverse match for Plautilla 8.21.20.2

In addition 2.9 gr.sounds a little light for this coin.
