Roman Chest Lock Hasp from Caesarea Maritima

Hi, all  Here is a bronze hasp from a Roman? chest lock.  I found a similar example in D. Jacksons Numiswiki page on Roman Chest Locks.  Any other comments or corrections are always welcome.  Thanks, Jimi

Bronze Chest Lock Hasp
Caesarea Maritima   
Roman 1st-2nd cent. CE
Cast Bronze hasp from a Roman chest lock, hinged, with
remains of an iron pin to accommodate a mounting fixed
to the chest.  The flat underside has a cast-in rectangular
loop to receive the lock bolt.  The top surface is decorated
with beveled edges along the upper half, three cross-wise
ridges near the midpoint and a knob at the end. 
4.55 x 0.7 x 1.05cm.  Wt.4.87 gm.

Yes, classic Roman style.  Not to say it couldn't be earlier too.

Looks like the heavy construction of roman lantern supports which are dated to the 1st-2nd c AD.
