ID for belt plate (?) with fish!

Copper alloy; 90mm/31.2gm

Ground found on the Dalmatian coast, if that helps.

Roman, Celtic or later? The stud appears to be an a later edition...?
What sort of fish? Maybe a sturgeon fish?

Nice.  My first instinct is later - possibly Germanic, but late Roman provincial is also possible.

I think so.  Possibly part of a buckle plate?  The tip seems to be broken off.
