I can read "MAEA AVG" on the obverse, I think. But I can't seem to find this reverse anywhere on the internets.

Take that with a large grain of salt since I know nothing about these
but I think it might be Julia Maesa with an Elagabalus reverse.

Or I might be totally wrong.  ;D

The reverse most probably is from Severus Alexander, Mamaea's son.

Wow, I was unaware that there were such varieties. A Julia Mamaea obverse with a Severus Alexander reverse?

Yes. Such coins are called mules. Unofficial combinations of dies.

Interesting coin.  I have a few Sev Alexander AE denari with Mamaea reverses in my collection.   These were probably meant to be counterfeits but then why mismatch the reverses?  Wouldn't that make them more difficult to pass?

So was I wrong on both counts?

The obverse inscription probably reads IVLIA MA - MAEA AVG.

I dont think MARS VLTOR is known for Elagabalus, but is for Severus Alexander.
