Wierd looking flan

I see this coin very wierd and look cast, the flan look pressed! It is 27mm and 18.1 grams, thoughts???

I assumed appearance of flan was making him question the coin (thus the title of the post). Perhaps I was mistaken.  I've deleted my post that focused on likely flan production techniques to avoid confusion.

I was also defending authenticity, but only if it is known.that the flans of this series were produced the same way as similar looking Roman Republican struck bronzes (two-piece molds).
