Hi to all.

I think this nomos from Tarentum is a casted fake.
Evidence of casting: circular pits on the surface, some details blend in the surface.

21 mm, 7,2 g

Thanks for your reply, I have in very high regard your opinion but I still have doubts on this coin.

I have other 2 similar coins buyed in the same lot, I'll post them too (in other topics)

The pits do not look like casting bubbles to me.  The weak letters are quite common on these Tarentine coins.

It look a okay to me, although not very pretty.
These 3rd century didrachms were produced at a very high rate and the quality suffers. But as Jay says the problems that are concerning to you are typical of the type.
An edge image would help.
