I'm far behind in photographing last years additions but I'm happy to sneak a few into my gallery tonight.

My one and only Roman Gold
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-142637

Vespasian's dynastic type from Rome
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-142640

Vespasian's very rare dynastic type from the Tarraco mint.  I looked a long time for one of these. It was fun tracking down the provenance that was not noted in the sale.

A very rare Titus RIC 1485 denarius.  This one was misdescribed by the seller.  A worn but a clear example.

Finally, a very rare siglos with a stylized lion reverse.

As always, any comments or corrections are always appreciated.

Thanks,
Nemo

I'm kind of late to the party here, but wow! What a haul!

The Tarraco and 'o' mint denarii are the Flavian silver stand outs! Congrats on acquiring such rarities!

And oh that gold piece! A very beautiful addition.

I'm very unfamiliar with Athens Owl type coinage but, with the help of Altamura, I discovered this is a Athens mint tetradrachm. It was struck on a recycled, older tet, folded over twice to create a new misshapen flan

I've been looking for an Aelius denarius for quite some time and I'm happy to have been able to pick this one up.  Only 2 examples in the Reka Devnia hoard

Thanks for the kind words Orfew, Peter. Always appreciated.

Here's a rarity I've had for a little while but never got around to photographing. Seeing David Atherton's recent acquisition was the motivation I needed!
