Is this the worlds most expensive coin or just the UK's most expensive coin? Anybody know of a more expensive coin.

I think the most expensive coin in the world is the 1933 US Gold Double Eagle.  It sold for $7.59 Million:

It seems that 7 more specimens of this 7M coin was recently discovered.
To aboid the devaluation of the unique specimen to 7K coin, the Treasury
declared newly founds illegal (presumably stolen).
