I have no particular suspicions about this coin, I was simply asking for an opinion.
However, I now realize that the regulation of this section doesn't  allow it. Excuse me.

As a follow up, the solidus in question appears to have been withdrawn from a current auction. If because it a fake, then it is a very dangerous one!

I seriously doubt it is fake. I see no obvious signs of forgery and the small laminations would be pretty hard to reproduce.

My bad, I mixed something, the OP coin was not withdrawn from auction. Sorry for the confusion, I agree that the coin looks perfectly ok.
