Help Translating German Kl. Sf. a Rd., 3+
Joe Sermarini:
Please help translating German (grade?):
Kl. Sf. a Rd., 3+
Thanks,
Joe
Jochen:
I think it is "Kleiner Schrötlingsfehler am Rand" = "Small flan defect at the edge". "3+" is a kind of rating.
Best regards
Jochen
Joe Sermarini:
That's it. Thanks Jochen.
dwarf:
German grade "3" usually meant "sehr schön" = "very fine"
BUT
In these old days it was equivalent to modern US "xf"
Regards
Klaus
Joe Sermarini:
Do you know the whole number scale? If it is used regularly at all, think it is something that should be on NumisWiki.
