Some more Campgates, this batch from Heraclea

One each from Crispus, Constantine I and Constantius II

First off Constantius II

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-159937

Then we have Constantine I

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-159936

and finally a coin featuring Crispus, though its a little rough.  I included two different photos of it.

I have a long way to go to keep my goal of adding a coin for every day this year to my gallery.  So far 16/365.

Today I am stepping away from the Campgates to start my Greek Coin and Greek Imperial Coin Gallery

I am starting with 4 different Provincial Coins all featuring Mt Argaeus

First off Julia Maesa
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-159950

then Lucious Verus
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-159949

then a Trajan, which is alot smaller (I am not 100% sure on the attribution but still working on it)

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-159951

and ending the Argaus theme with a handsome looking coin from Antoninus Pius

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-159952

Then just to spice it up I added a Serrated coin from Antiochos VI Dionysos

Adding a few more to my main gallery.  2 I have had a while and haven't been good at updating and 1 I just added.

First are two denarius with one from L. Thorius Balbus

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-160129

the second which was on my desired list from C Poblicius with Roma and Hercules strangling the Nemean lion.

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-160128

The third today is a Provincial of Hadrian from Alexandria.  It was a spur of the moment purchase but am thrilled with it.  Love the clear Ibis on the reverse.

Need to pick up my pace to get things added however when I get working on my coins I get easily distracted and never get anything done.

Wow I am finally getting around to post some coins to my gallery.  It will probably be a mish mash of different areas I have been collected.

I have some more Campgates to add, more Greek, more provincials and more to my Gallienus Zoo collection.

Tonight I am just starting to fill in some holes.  Coins I have had but for one reason of another havent added them to my gallery.

First off 3 different ones that I picked up through the Forum Auctions.

My first non Provincial for Trebonianus Gallus

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-165992

another Probus in decent condition

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-165990

and finally a denarius of Marcus Aurelius

While I was at it I decided to upload three more to my Campgates collection

First up a Constantine I from Arles
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-165996

Secondly a purchase from our host Forvm Ancient Coins
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-165995

Thirdly a rare one.  Checked my Ticinium box with this one.  Its rated R4.  Great looking reverse.

Stepping away from my Campgates and trying to catch up on my purchases, I have added 5 more coins to my Gallery.  They will be all over the map this time from the Republic to Aurelian

First up, one from my wanted list.
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-166136

secondly my first Marc Antony, also one from my list of most wanted.
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-166135

thirdly a Provincial of Hadrian.  Its in poorer condition but has a scarse?  reverse legend orientation
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-166134

4th is a beautiful coloured Crispina
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-166133

finally an Antoninianus of Aurelian
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-166132

The gallery additions today are as varied as my growing collectionHope you enjoy.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the Campgates.  I feel my collection is growing nicely.

Well tonight I am showing off 5 of my additions to my Greek Collection.   Obviously from all the help I ask for in the identification forum I am not as confident in this area in attributing them, so feel free if you see any mistakes to correct me.

First off are three  city-states coins featuring elephants,

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-166261

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-166259

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-166258

after the elephants we need a lion and Lysimachos' of Thrace obliges

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-166260

Finally tonight I have a Centaur reverse of Prusias II a King of Bithynia.

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-166257

Hope you enjoy.  Tomorrow night I will dip into some Provincial coins I have picked up.

Man I really need to pay attention. I just noticed I posted the Serrated Antiochos VI Elephant one  back in Feb.  Well, it deserves a double look anyways.  Have a great night.
