Numiswiki page clarification
« on: June 26, 2021, 08:35:22 am »
Could someone please do a bit of clarification on this page
https://www.forumancientcoins.com/numiswiki/view.asp?key=bland

- Add that the list refers only to coins struck in Antioch
- What does "Bland # known" mean ?
- What does "(A)" stand for in the "RSC #" column ?

Where was the original Dr. Bland website ? Perhaps it is stored on archive.org's wayback machine ?

Thanks Dane.

I changed the title to indicate it is only coins of Antioch and made a few other minor changes to the page.

Bland # known indicates the number of specimens known to Dr. Bland.

In RSC, (A) means eastern mint - Antioch (I know you knew that Dane. This comment is for others that don't know). I do not know what it means on the Bland Study. If anyone else knows, please tell us.

The original URL was ettuantiquities.com/Philip_1/Philip1-Bland-list.htm. It is available on the Internet Archive WayBack Machine - https://web.archive.org/web/20040413081823/http://ettuantiquities.com/Philip_1/Philip1-Bland-list.htm.
