Viminacium Help Please
« on: July 26, 2014, 01:25:06 am »
Hi,

AE 27, Viminacium Reverse.  It's badly worn, so cannot read ex. or legend.  I can read *VAL* in the obverse legend.  Can anyone recognize the shape of the bust?

Thanks

I think it is probably Philip I.  I see M IVL at 10:00 and the style looks better than the later emperors.  Looks like it could be year 7 -  AN VII.
