Silver cross (without chain)
« on: January 31, 2009, 09:18:59 am »
This was found in the German/French border area with items dating about 1400 AD.  Judging by the style or size, can anyone offer any tidbits of information (or speculation) on this piece?   [US quarter for size comparison]   Thanks!  Jon

A shameless bump.

A medieval jewelry site has recently offered this:  Vaguely resembles a Celtic cross that shows the filigree style wires dated around 1500.

Off to the UK museum sites!
