Copper alloy; Buckle - 57mm; Attachment plate - 47mm/31gm

The front is decorated, and the back is not.

Lovely but I've never seen one like this. Medieval? Later?

No idea but the fact that the buckle is attached to the frame via rolled section appears to be quite late - post-medieval?
