Hadrian denarius with victory inscribing shield

Dear members,

I only found this reverse with Trajan: Hadrianvs Avgvstvs PP reverse Victory inscribing shield set on base. 3,2 gms. Unrecorded?

Very strange, Hadrian's policy was "maintain peace through strength". He secured the borders and to my knowledge (I could be wrong), there were no wars to commemorate victory.

Unlike my example of Trajan's Dacian Victory.

Fake or not, the reverse is surely Trajan RIC 65 (shield on column) only missing p p in reverse legend, the combination of the reverse and obverse legend (without pp) is common for Hadrian's eastern mint. Are we looking at an unrecored specimen, or an unrecorded fake...

There are Hadrian Quinari with Victory inscribing shield: RIC 351 and 352

Description says "shield set on palm", but the picture of 352 looks lika a column

Legend is P M TR P COS III
