All the devices on-flan and nicely detailed. I particularly like the light
iridescent toning.
You’ve provided me with an excuse to
crack open my new(ish) copy of
Calciati’s
Pegasi,
vol I. It’s in
Italian and English, and has some odd punctuation, and I am
still puzzled by some of the
abbreviations (e.g.,
Sic. and Or.). The reference to
Pegasi #400 is accurate. In fact, there appear three entries for #400, one with the A
monogram on the
reverse (no photo), the next a
reverse without the A, and the third a
reverse that is a
mule #401 also without the A.
