Joe Sermarini:
NumisWiki Ancient Weights and Scales reference list updated.

Stkp:
There is also a book on coin weights, at least those found in the UK: Lions, Ships and Angels: Identifying Coin Weights Found in Britain , by Paul Withers and Bente R. Withers. I mention it here, although it presumably would not include any ancient Greek coin weights, due to its general topicality.

Joe Sermarini:
But does it include Roman weights.

I'm aware of the book only because it covers some medieval Hungarian coin weights. The book was written for the use of metal detectorists for the identification of coin weights found in the UK. The description at the following link makes no mention of Roman, so perhaps not: https://www.galata.co.uk/assets/uploaded/docs/13.pdf. Stkp

What exactly does "coin weight" mean here?
