Hadrian, Cistophorus BITHYNIA Koinon of Bithynia mint, variant
« on: November 04, 2021, 03:31:06 am »
Dear cf,

Here we have a new reverse variant
Similar to RPC III, 977 https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coins/3/977 only an extra figure holding sceptre and Victoria ?
Also I mailed a correction on 977, she is also holding a cornucopia

Coin is somewhat under weighted

Best

Eric

RPC III --; Metcalf--;

Issue Reverse legend includes COM BIT

Obv. IMP CAES TRA HADRIANO AVG P P
