Celtic Coin? Help please

(1/2) > >>

Jose C:
This is my last greek coin. The horseman in reverse looks like a child's drawing. I can't even see the upside of the head? on obverse.

Weight: 3.7g
Size: 18mm.

Thanks in advance.

This looks celtic to me.  However I am not familiar with celtic coinage.

Try searching "celtic ae horse" on acsearch.

Example (similar to yours): https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=2519017

Thank you Peter.

I looked at every page about Celtic coinage on Wildwinds. I searched a thousand different ways in Ac search, i googled it...

No match... :(

Anyone have more clues?  ???

Thank you.

Hi Jose,

I see imitative coins listed often without an exact reference. You might not find one.

Suggest you repost this on the Board "Celtic, Barbaric & Tribal Imitative Coins".  Someone that specialises in these kinds of coins may comment.

Peter

I had a thread about this coin in identification help. Peterpill advised me to post it on this board. Anyone knows what it is?

I searched all celtic pages of WW and used all the combinations of words i could relate on Acsearch. No match...

Weight: 2,46g
Size: 18mm.

Thanks in advance
