Is this coin from Gallienus/Nicaea referenced?
« on: June 04, 2023, 01:29:23 pm »
Hi everyone,

I have got this coin of 6,98gr for 23mm, from Nicaea in Bithynia.

It seems to be Gallienus but with reverse known for Valerius I or Trebonius Gallus.

Obverse: ΠO ΛI EΓ ΓAΛΛIHNOC CEB. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right.
Reverse: N-IKA-I-EΩN. Cybele seated on throne left between two lions, holding patera in right hand, left arm resting on tympanum.

Is this coin already known and referenced?

Thanks for your help!
Vincent
