Actually I do try and monitor the galleries regularly. My excuse is that all these additions were within the last month.
Several of these uploads were not really spam, they were honest errors made by new members unfamiliar with the FORVM gallery set up.
I have not deleted them all, some I have moved to their owners' own galleries and some I've updated with the additional information which others had added to their comments boxes.
Thanks for giving us the "heads up".
