Help needed to Id the period, Roman or Bizantine?

roman bone dice? I have seen these mostly attributed as roman but do not know if or why they were not continued to be made later into the 7-10th century.

Crude manufacture but Roman ones appeared ranging from very crude to very nice.

Do the opposite sides add up to 7 like with modern dice??  That was almost always the case with Roman die.
