BRVTVS Denarius
« on: November 28, 2011, 05:07:45 pm »
Hello,

As with the "Tribute Penny" I just posted, there is no match in the Fake Reports for this BRVTVS denarius either.  However, I think it is also suspect.  I don't like the softness of the obverse, or the glob at the bottom of the lead lictor's back foot.  According to seller, the weight is 3.55g, which seems OK.

What do you all think?

Thanks,
Cliff

Just my opinion but based on the pics the coin looks good to me.
