If some of you happen to go to Quebec city this summer you should not miss the main exhibition of the
Musée National
des Beaux-Arts wich consist of over 250 pieces from the
Musée du Louvre, sumerian to the 19th century (I'm not adressing the
french members of the
forum here who have access to the entire
collections ). Not having many occasions to look at such things this
side of the world, I went there the first day and even if there is missing some coins and major works, there are wonderful pieces to be seen, like this sarcophagus (
part of it) depicting Ariane and
Dionysus (not seen on the pic...). There is so many things to see in this one only, I could have spent the day looking at it.
