The Domna coin was discussed briefly on a Dutch forum so for the sake of argument the following: The Domna seems to be a rare RIC 642 from Laodicea, but I have a gut feeling that it has to be a fake. Also, the Plautillae and the rare Caracalla bust (nr10) look suspect. All look to be coins struck with modern dies.

When I looked at the fake reports I found this coin (below) which seems to me to be a reverse die match to the Domna coin.

Gert

Difficult to tell from those pictures. Number 5, 9 and 10 look very suspect to me, 3 looks a little bit strange too, 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 may be genuine, but again: I can't tell for sure from those pictures. Maybe others can...

I would not pay for this lot!

Thanks a lot for yours support !!!

I payed 222 Euros for the lot, but the coins that interested me where the 2 plautillas, the Julia Paula, and the (fake) coin from Domna
Only for the julia Paula, it's too much !!
I'll say the seller that with 4 coins who are probably fake, this makes me doubt on the rest too, and I will not purchase this lot.
Better one worned but real coin, than 10 fakes !!!!

I can confirm the Caracalla as a known fake too. There are examples of several of these coins to be found in our own Fakes Board:-
