Fouree or just pitted?

I've just picked this one up where the seller described it as been pitted. To me it looks more like a fouree but the dies certainly look official. What do you guys think?

Yes, I agree. It appears that the copper core has corroded below the silver plating, causing it to blister and flake off.

Certainly looks that way from that picture.  Have you examined the pitted areas with a magnifying glass

The end result for this part of the topic is that the coin is a fourree:

The coin arrived yesterday and it is most definately a fouree. I'll try and get some better pic's taken and posted latter today.
