Hello everyone.
I'm very pleased to share these absolute rarities I received yesterday.
The Vespasian Obol, with Osiris Canopus on reverse, is only the second specimen known, missing in all major collections, including Dattari; is also better in hand than the auction house photo would suggest.
The Domitian Hemidrachm with the famous Alexandria Pharos on reverse was was originally classified as RPC II 2617. However, noting the presence of the aegis, which was missing on the other specimens, a new entry was created by Prof. Amandry.
I had been searching for a long time for at least one specimen with this reverse, but had so far only acquired an extremely worn one. Finally I have filled this gap!

Very nice Alberto, especially the Aegis portrait on the pharos

Two very nice additions Alberto. The Domitian hemidrachm with the Pharos is
My favorite of the two.
