Although it is very cool, it is nothing new... The line of arches was already described and
reconstructed as
part of the Domus Aurea by Boise Van Deman in 1923, the excavations of Clementina Panella (and others) only brought further remains to light. But we knew they were there.
It makes me think of the so-called
Lupercal that was "discovered" a couple of years ago with loads of press attention, while the exact same structure was already described over 100 years ago by Lanciani and Boni.
