Is this real or fake?

Hi this coin is up for auction on an auction site and to me it looks like an obviously edge seam, what do you think?

Hi Daniel. First, it's not really possible to diagnose an edge seam from a photo like this. You'd be surprised how lighting and camera angle can play tricks on the appearance of an edge and some minor edge anomolies are just minor edge anomolies. Second, it is not permitted to screen potential purchases or auction targets on Forum (not sure if you were considering bidding on this coin).

The apparent edge seam in pictures of silver coins is a classic. Mostly it doesn't exist in the real world.
