unfortunately, my last addition used to be a little
bit mysterious. Coins of
Antoninus Pius with "
VOTA VIGENNALIA"-revers is only known as
aurei or large brass like
Sestertii, describes as
RIC 1012.
My coin is undoubtful genuine,
weight and
diameter match one to an As.
I can explain it to myself only as a sloppiness in the
mint.
Are other examples known?
