Caracalla Pisidia transfer die fakes (already publisehed)
« on: February 15, 2022, 11:42:38 am »
There are already some in fake reports but it seems like it was not clear what kind of fakes the actally are so I will prove that they are actaully transfer die fakes.
There will be many pictures of the transfer die fakes and of authentic coins from the same dies and a die linked authentic coin with different reverse die.
The position, shape and size of the letters and other details are identical on the transfer die fakes and authenitc coins.
There is a die flaw on the obverse at about 7 o´ clock through P and C of the legend IMP and Caesar, proving that they are formt he same dies.
The hair of Caracalla has possibly been recut or damaged due to transfer errors.

In this post, third post in this thread only authentic coins with same obverse die and at least on with same reverse die one with different reverse die and one I most likely but not compeltely certain from same reverse die, too.
