vercingetorix:
It is one of the most interesting byzantine portraits I have ever seen on a bronze and the style indicate an Italian mint-Rome, but could be Ravenna also.I am a little confused by what seems a diadem instead of a crown or helmet and I am thinking about a barbaric issue in the name of Justinian. Anyway Rugser maybe you could clean the coin a little more because I can't see the details on the reverse on the left and right side of the big "K".

Simon:
Wow, I have not seen a portrait like that before, it almost has a early Greek feeling to it.  Attractive coin.
