Ave!

Byzantine, Baptismal types, ca. 8th-12th century

Silver alloy; 2.2gm Cast in one part then cold engraved.

Such Byzantine Era rings with crudely incised designs were produced with supplicants in various poses and are interpreted as having early Christian "blessing" or "baptizing" motifs.

The complete ring seems to feature a man raising his arms and dancing for joy. "I am saved! Hallelujah!"

The bezel on the 2nd ring appears to feature a priest touching the head of a youth in blessing or leading him to baptism...?

Such rings are scarce do to their fragility.
"Goodbye, Livia: never forget our marriage!"
