Hi, all. I have assigned this coin from Caesarea Maritima to
Elagabalus, as
BMC Palestine 117 or
Kadman 83v. However, the only reference book I have is
Kadman, so if anyone has a newer publication such as
Rosenberger or
Sofaer and thinks it might be
Caracalla, please let me know. The
inscription is pretty rough and incomplete, so that doesn't make it any easier, but I have transcribed it as best I can. Thanks, V-drome
