I see no obvious signs that it is fake.  The battered patina looks fairly original too, though it is always hard to tell from photos.

I know of no parallel though.  The workmanship is also very crude as is the construction.

So if original it would clearly be something from a small regional workshop.  Almost a home-made thing.
