Hi everyone.  Here is a coin a friend has asked me to help ID.  Possibly from Turkey?  Silver.  Sorry no weight or size.  Thanks in advance!

Hi

This is Turkish as you suspected, either a 2 1/2 or 5 piastres of Mahmud II, struck in Constantinople in year 5 of his reign, 1812.

I think it is most likely to be a 5 piastres, which should weigh about 25 grams and be about 41 mm in diameter. If it is smaller it will of course be the 2 1/2 piastres.
