Caria fraction, Mylasa or uncertain?
« on: August 13, 2016, 01:21:42 am »
Hi Guys!
I have been lucky enough to pick up this beautiful little hemiobol, ( nicely toned and with fantastic relief, the picture doesn't do it full justice!) , however my references list it as unsure mint of Caria, but online I have found many references to it being minted in Mylasa, my question is if this is speculation or has study been done which confirms the Mylasa attribution?
Any thoughts or references greatly appreciated!!
Lee S.
