Recently purchased zodiac ring

Can any one help me as to the authenticity of this ring? It it supposed to be from 100 B.C. - 100 A.D. It appears to be bronze. The weight is approx. 2.5 grams and the ring size U.S. is approx. 9.5.

Odds are the ring is old but the engraving is new.  Alex Malloy has told me that is fairly common and more likely when the design is particularly interesting (as it is on this ring).
