What is this coin?
Coin sice is 28mm
weight is 9.25grams

A modern imitation of a medieval Kievan Rus coin, but much to thick to be real.
The real thing should look like the one underneath and be of silver.

I found this coin in my fathers collection. It was lying in box for 25 years now.

Yes  :), the term "modern" reaches for coins certainly beyond 25 years.
Surely this imitation was not made in the Middle Ages, when this kind of coins were circulating.

It appears to have been something originally made into a key chain.
